Keeping key stages under our control helps Vertco move quickly from requirement to working product. Tooling, hose manufacture, prototyping, pressure and vacuum testing and production are all carried out at our UK facility, backed by an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system.

FIBRE-REINFORCED
EXTRUSION.
Our patented fibre-reinforced extrusion process gives Vertco additional flexibility in developing complex hose geometries. It supports highly flexible constructions, strong vacuum resistance, significant changes in bore size and one-piece branched hoses that reduce joints, clips and potential leak paths within an assembly.
HOSE ENGINEERING SCOPE.
- Bore sizes from 6mm to 250mm on shaped rubber hose; silicone duct hose from 19mm - 400mm ID
- Large-bore, complex-shaped, multi-leg and step-bore designs
- One-piece homogeneous hoses replacing multi-part assemblies
- Integrated sensor mounts, bleed valves, connectors, bonded-in inserts and other fittings
- High-vacuum applications and restricted routing spaces
MATERIALS AND COMPOUNDS.
Material choice is critical to performance. Our technical team advises on material selection based on the application, operating environment and required performance, rather than reproducing a specification that may not be right for the job.
TESTING AND QUALITY.
Vertco operates a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2015. In-house pressure and vacuum testing supports product development and production, giving greater control over development, quality and lead times.
FROM PROTOTYPE TO PRODUCTION.
Not every requirement starts with a large production order. We support prototype quantities, one-off specials, small service batches and production runs in the hundreds. Once a product is approved, we can support service quantities, repeat orders or scheduled production requirements.
